“In the spring, whooper swans start their journey from the UK to Iceland, setting off to spend summers on Icelandic lakes and marshland to breed and raise their young–before returning back to the UK in the autumn, just as the Icelandic winter is descending. Some years ago, I found an image which illustrated this beautifully: a map from a scientific paper which showed the exact migration paths of these swans, each bird having been fitted with a GPS tracking collar.” 

“The different colour gradients on the hoodie and T-shirt are inspired by the dawn and dusk sky in Iceland - the time of day when the swans often begin or end their journeys.“

Part of the Tindur system of technical pieces designed for performance in extreme cold, the Tindur shearling fleece provides a dynamic warming midlayer, where the design of the shoulder and elbow articulations allow for added warmth without limitations of movement. In Iceland it's a great outer layer on its own for summer, which means in most places it'll make a great transitional piece for the chilly days in Fall or Spring.

The Varmahlíð shearling fleece jacket is made from a treated blend of wool and fleece, making the jacket soft and warm. It is unique in its capability of retaining warmth, as well as its appearance. The finishing treatment of this wool/fleece blend creates an intriguing shearling texture.

The jacket features two front pockets and one chest pocket, with a drawstring at the bottom hem to adjust the fit.

Kaldi blends the traditional Icelandic "lopapeysa" wool sweater with an inner layer made of GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ fabric, combining one of the world's original technical fabrics (wool) with advanced contemporary materials to make a sweater which is fully windproof with maximum breathability. 
Two zipped pockets on sides. Kaldi jacket is made of Icelandic wool. The Icelandic sheep has two coats of wool, a fine warm inner coat (Þel) and a coarse long haired outer coat (Tog), providing shelter for cold, rainy and windy days. 
The natural colors of the Icelandic wool are mostly used for the traditional sweater. Kaldi highlights the black and grey tones as well as brown hues.
