Merino Wool

Merino is a soft kind of wool ideal for garments worn close to the skin. Merino wool is moisture-wicking, thermo-regulating, odor-neutralizing, and naturally biodegradable. At the microscopic level merino wool fibers are like coiled springs that return to their natural shape after being bent; this gives merino wool garments a natural resistance to wrinkles. All these properties make merino wool both an ecological and technical choice for daywear and active sports.

All the merino that features in our core collection is sourced from New Zealand and meets the Textile Exchange’s Responsible Wool Standard that guarantees animal welfare protection in line with The Five Freedoms; land health preservation that protects soil health, biodiversity, and native species; social welfare protection, working conditions, and the health and safety of workers.
