Men's Drangajökull Gore-Tex Down Parka

Drangajökull is a minimalist technical parka designed for the city. A DWR-coated matte nylon hides GORE’s iconic waterproof membrane. Premium white goose down ensures warmth in all weather. Taped seams, low-profile pockets, and a detachable down-filled hood trim, insulated with 800-fill white goose down, add further utility. Given its advanced materials, it shouldn’t surprise you that Drangajökull can handle the Arctic Circle’s worst. Given its looks, it still might.

The body of Drangajökull is cut from two-layer GORE-TEX faced with a burly, abrasion-resistant nylon. Articulations throughout make the parka refreshingly agile. Plentiful pockets provide room to spare. Behind it all, 800-fill white goose down provides exceptional warmth for weight.

All animal products used in 66ºNorth products are ethically-sourced from audited suppliers. Our down comes from a long-time German supplier, who has been certified in accordance with the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) Downpass, and the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

Drangajökull is cut to be worn with a mid-layer and fits all genders comfortably, using adjustments on the hood, waist, hem, and sleeves to customize wear. Those between sizes should size down. Please refer to the size guide to find your precise fit.
