Iceland, the ever transforming land of fire and ice, keeps us constantly connected to the amazing forces of nature. 66°NORTH has always worked hard to challenge the elements with high quality outdoor clothing suited to every situation people might encounter. But don't just take our word for it. The renowned Icelandic Search and Rescue Organisation and the Icelandic Police recently had to face the volcanic eruption in Grimsvotn and they put their trust in the quality of our outdoor clothing. The environment they had to tackle involved an area saturated with volcanic ash. They were also at the mercy of strong winds blowing off the glacier. This event was more challenging than anything our average customers would ever endure.
