Five garments from 66°NORTH are nominated for the Polartec® APEX award 2007.

Polartec® (www.polartec.com) places great emphasis on constantly expanding the limits of what fabric can do. Each year the company rewards those who extend that spirit into innovative garments and accessories. The Polartec® APEX Awards are presented to the designers and companies that make the most outstanding Polartec® based products. Garments and accessories are judged on innovation, design, style, workmanship, fit and functionality.
 
Polartec® is proud to announce that five garments from 66°NORTH are nominated for the award this year. Many of the biggest outdoor clothing manufactures use Polartec® in their garments and therefore it is a great accomplishment for 66°NORTH. To have one garment nominated is an achievement -  to have five is outstanding.The garments that are nominated are: Víkur jackets and pants for both men and women. These garments are a part of a new collection from 66°NORTH that is specially designed for horse riding. In addition to these nominations, the Kjölur coat was also nominated. This coat combines a classic design with an innovative use of fleece.
