I've had my Glymur for 5 years now and it's been all over the world with me and still brilliant. Plus I've never seen anyone else with one in London in all that time!!

Overall our conclusions from months of use with this shell is that it won’t disappoint those willing to spend some extra dough for its quality. There are certainly cheaper options available which can provide decent shelter from the elements, but few can match the Glymur’s top-notch performance in any condition, or its versatility as a slicker for cities or summits. Best of all, it’s highly unlikely you’ll run into a soccer mom wearing one in the grocery store outside of Iceland. /Gear Patrol

Very good 3 layer jacket. Fitting is very good but not very tight. The only thing that could be better is the hoody. It is not so technical but very good in rain and light wind. But I tried also Vatnajökull jacket 3 layer and that one is much more technical with hood and longer. But I bought Glymur because it was lighter and I did not need all the technical details. Wear L 185 cm and 84 kg. Gunnar

The Botnsa river runs from the second-deepest lake in Iceland, Hvalvatn (525 ft.), into the sea at Hvalfjordur.
