Most of our mid layers are named after Icelandic topographical areas. It is an amusing coincidence that one of our best-selling jackets, the Esja Jacket, is named after one of the most popular areas for outdoor activity in Iceland, the Esja. Esja is a 914 m high mountain located 10 km north of Reykjavik. Each year about 40,000 people hike up Esja. We can say quite confidently that many of those who climb Esja do so wearing our Esja Jacket.
