It was in glorious weather that 170 people reached the top of Iceland's highest peak, Hvannadalshnukur on the southern part of Vatnajokull glacier, on Saturday May 29th. The hike was part of the program Reach the top with 66°NORTH and Icelandic Mountain Guides. The group's hike was a fantastic success, with wind-still and clear blue sky on the shiny white capped mountain top.
