Great response to the Hvannadalshnúkur tour

Over 300 people attended the promotional meeting held yesterday by 66°NORTH and Icelandic Mountain Guides regarding the mountaineering of Hvannadalshnúkur, the highest peak of Vatnajökull Glacier. There is a great interest in the tour and the training programme and over 160 people have already signed up for the adventure. If everything goes to plan, the group will reach Hvannadalshnúkur peak in two groups, the first group on May 31st and the second on June 7th.
