Reach The Top With 66°NORTH
66°NORTH and Icelandic Mountain Guides offer an extensive and realistic training plan that should make it possible for most people to reach the highest summit of Iceland, Hvannadalshnukur in southern the Vatnajökull Glacier (height 2110 m or 6920 feet).
The workshop is not only based on hiking but includes lectures covering factors to consider when climbing mountains and glaciers. Throughout the years, Icelandic Mountain Guides has been the leaders in hiking tours on Hvannadalshnukur and other Icelandic mountains. The company has years of experience on how to reach the goal – the mountain top – each time.
66°NORTH has been a market leader in developing and making outdoor clothes necessary for those who want to climb mountains and enjoy outdoor activities in any weather conditions. The participants in “Reach The Top With 66°NORTH” receive a participant’s identification card which gives them a 25% discount on 66°NORTH outdoors clothes in the company’s shops during the training workshop.
Below is the programme which is designed so that almost anyone can participate. The price of the workshop is ISK 29,900. For those who don’t think they need an intensive training programme, then it’s ideal if you want to hike in the mountains of your choice. The price of hiking on one mountain is ISK 4,900, except for the climb on Hvannadalshnjukur which costs ISK 12,500. In order to participate in the climb of Hvannadalshnjukur, then it is necessary to have climbed at least two of the other mountains on the list below.
Please be welcome to our introduction on February 6 at 20:00 hrs, in the premises of 66°NORTH at Faxafen 12 in Reykjavik.
