66°NORTH sponsors 5 Peaks and Sjónarhóll
5 Peaks is a group of people who are going to walk to the highest peak in each section of Iceland (total of 5 peaks) in just one weekend to raise money for Sjónarhóll a centre for children with long term diseases and disabilities and their parents. No one in the group is an experienced mountain climber so this is a very challenging mission. To complete their task the group needs to walk continuously over the course of the weekend. The group came to 66°NORTH for sponsorship and good advice because the company has manufactured quality protective clothing for Icelandic conditions for over 80 years. 66°NORTH is the main sponsor of 5 Peaks and among other things has provided everyone in the group with three layers of clothing.
